This Eventuri carbon intake was affected by a game accident. The carbon is broken in one place (tissue damaged, therefore not 100% repairable), furthermore there are acidic residues from the game everywhere on the part which could not be removed by wet grinding and polishing.
We have "bulged" the crack and filled it with resin. This makes the surface smooth again 100%, but the crack will still be seen a little. Once the fabric is damaged, the margin is limited. We sanded the remaining area of the entire airbox and removed the game splatter (P500 Wet). The part then received a full coat of clearcoat and is ready for re-installation.
